Join CIM's Graduate School
CIM runs a graduate school for students wishing to pursue an interdisciplinary mathematical research project. Our aim is to educate students to have a broad capacity for using mathematical models to understand the many different aspects of the world. We do this through a combination of courses, seminar series and the research projects undertaken by the students.
Graduate students within CIM can be based at any department within the Univeristy, although they should have a strong background and interest in the mathematical sciences.
We announce 2 to 4 open PhD positions once a year (usually in February/March). Outside these times it may still be possible to apply to join the school. If you are interested you should in the first instance find a supervisor within Uppsala University who would be willing to supervise your project. The supervisor should then contact us with a description of the potential project.
