Complex modeling, Convergence, and Uncertainty Quantification, 4-5 June 2012, Uppsala
This seminar series is geared towards dynamical systems, mathematical modelling, and interdisciplinary research. The intended audience comes both from the mathematical sciences and their application fields.
The format of the seminar is informal and a light lunch will be provided for the participants.
An informal opportunity to meet people with an interest in interdisciplinary research.
The coffee is followed by an informal seminar odd week numbers.

CIM affiliated faculty members, postdocs, PhD students and undergraduate students meet to discuss cases that have been submitted to the mc² consultancy.

Five PhD students has recently been recruited.
New study reveals the rules of interaction of shoaling fish
CIM's researchers Richard Mann, Andrea Perna and David Sumpter have, in collaboration with biologists in Sidney, detemined the rules of interraction of mosquitofish. The study was recently published in PNAS.
