Exams in mathematics usually take place shortly after the end of the courses. Some courses have written exams and some have home assignments. Detailed information about the exam for a specific course will be provided to you by the teacher. Each course has a total of three exams in one academic year, that is, one regular exam and two re-exams.
Register for exams in time
All exam registrations are available on www.studentportalen.uu.se. You can register for the upcoming exams after logging in to your pages. The registration usually opens in the beginning of the term and closes 12 days before the exam date.
Exam registration is mandatory. Another important thing to remember is to bring a valid photo ID card to the exam. More information is available on the university's central pages.
If you were registered to a course in a previous semester, you don't have to re-register for the course in order to register for the exam. The course will be under "incomplete courses" on the page "my studies" on studentportalen. However, if you'd like to have access to the current course material, ask your study counsellor for re-registration.
If you have problems with exam registration, contact your study counsellor.
