Collaboration

We want to inspire children and young people in mathematics and are happy to participate in various activities. We also accept visits from school students. You are welcome to contact us if you have ideas or if you want to get in touch with a researcher.

Collaboration with Combient

Combient is a so-called joint venture between 11 global companies and works for digitisation and automation. Doctoral students and researchers from the Department of Mathematics participate in research projects where they help Combient to collect, analyse and process information.

For elementary school students: Math Club

Math Club Uppsala is a collaboration between Uppsala municipality and the Department of Mathematics. It is an activity for children who are good at math, but want to explore more difficult math than the subject at school. The math that is discussed at the meetings lies usually outside the school program and the focus is on developing problem-solving and reasoning skills.
